Don’t get stuck with a “traveling trainer!” Training providers that travel city to city require a minimum number of students to make their classes profitable. If that minimum is not met, the class is cancelled–usually the day before. That leaves the student with no class and a long wait til the next class shows up. If we schedule a training and at least ONE student registers, we teach! Our trainers live in the areas where they teach and are there for you after the course as well. So be smart. Ask if they will hold a class if only you show up.

We now offer RRP classes every Wednesday in Atmore, Alabama. This convenient location serves Northwest Florida and Lower Alabama. Our next class is Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012. No more driving for hours to attend a class that may or may not cancel. We are a certified training provider for the states of Alabama and Georgia, who now administer their own RRP programs. We are also a certified Florida training provider under the EPA federal guidelines. We teach each Wednesday in Atmore, even if you are the only student! More information and class registration are at the bottom of this page. Atmore is located 45 minutes north of Pensacola and 45 minutes northeast of Mobile.
If you have not completed a EPA Certified Renovator (RRP) course by December 31, 2010 you are now facing fines up to $37,500 per occurrence on pre–1978 housing and child-occupied facilities. And enforcements have begun, especially in Alabama. Our EPA approved 8 hour course will bring you back into compliance with the EPA/HUD RRP Ruling.
This full-day EPA accredited course will lead to the EPA Certified Renovator certification, which is valid for five years from the date of successful completion of the course (3 years for Georgia and Alabama). This course is required for anyone removing or modifying painted surfaces in pre-1978 housing and/or child-occupied facilities. Students will learn how to comply with the EPA’s Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule (RRP) by working safely when lead-based paint is present, and performing lead-safe work practices safely and effectively during renovation, repair and painting projects.
